BROOKLYN - After performing at President Obama’s inauguration today in Washington, a Brooklyn choir made its triumphant return home.
The 300-member Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir sang at the inauguration after being selected by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) to perform at the event.
“Just looking out over the mall and just seeing the masses of people, it was overwhelming, it really was, and we just felt so privileged to be able to lift our voices,” said choir director Carol Cymbala.
