BROOKLYN - Mayor Michael Bloomberg says that power has finally been restored to thousands of public housing tenants throughout the city.

Bloomberg announced late Tuesday that nearly all NYCHA buildings are back to normal after more than two weeks without electricity, heat and water in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
