BROOKLYN - Bushwick residents will have a chance to get mellow and read at a new library that opened called Mellow Pages.

The library, on Bogart Street, allows anyone to join for a year for a suggested donation of $20 and allows patrons to check out one book at a time. The founders say that patrons can get around that by donating five books on their wish list or 10 books that are not.

Mellow Pages says that it wants to specialize in books from small, independent publishers.
