City gives out car seats to Sandy victims

The city is distributing 160 car seats across the city to needy families.

BROOKLYN - The city is giving out car seats to families in need who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The Department of Transportation teamed up with the Safe Streets Fund to give away the car seats. In all, 160 car seats will be given out.

The car seats will also be given out in Staten Island and Queens.
