PARK SLOPE - Chefs from all over the New York area descended on Park Slope to try to land a spot on Season 11 of Bravo’s cooking competition show “Top Chef.”

Auditions were held at Talde, owned by “Top Chef” alum Dale Talde. “You can't ask 50 or 60 people to cook a dish for you right now,” Talde says, so this round of auditions is based on personality and resume.

One chef says it was her seventh time trying out for the reality show.

Chefs from as far as Philadelphia came to the tryouts.
