Hundreds of couples got to celebrate their love for each other today after being married for more than 50 years. A party hosted by Borough

BROOKLYN - Hundreds of couples got to celebrate their love for each other today after being married for more than 50 years.

A party hosted by Borough President Marty Markowitz featured dancing, cake and champagne. Many couples at the event had been married longer than 50 years, including one couple who have been together for 72 years.

Markowitz has hosted the Valentine’s Day party every year since 2002.
