BROOKLYN - Newly crowned Miss America and Brooklyn resident Mallory Hagan teamed up with District Attorney Charles Hynes on a campaign to raise awareness about child sex abuse today.

Hagan says the issue is important to her because there was abuse in her own family.

Today, she and Hynes taped a public service announcement.

Hynes applauded Hagan for taking on such a difficult and personal issue.
