1 dead, 1 injured in East Flatbush shooting

BROOKLYN - Police say one person is dead and one injured after a shooting in East Flatbush.

Police say the shooting occurred inside a Chinese take-out restaurant on Church Avenue at around 11:30 last night. According to police, a 20-year-old man was shot in the back and taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Another 20-year-old was shot in the leg and is in stable condition.

Witnesses say an employee at the restaurant may have been injured by glass shards that broke off from the building.

Police are still investigating the shooting. No arrests have been made.
