1 dead after hit-and-run that began in BK

BROOKLYN - One person is dead and two more are hurt following a hit-and-run that began in Brooklyn.Police say they responded to a car accident in Queens around 3 a.m. this morning. There, officers found the body of a 24-year-old man. Authorities say the victim died after he fled the scene of an earlier car accident on Crescent Street and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. They say the victim hit several parked cars and a livery cab, causing his vehicle to flip over. Police are withholding the victim's name until they notify his family.
