BROOKLYN - Firefighters arrived to a home Tuesday to fight a fire and found one person dead.

Officials pronounced the 30-year-old victim dead at the scene. The fire began in an abandoned building but spread to two adjacent homes.

Authorities are investigating the cause of death.
