1 in serious condition after building collapse

BROOKLYN - Several workers were injured Monday after a building collapsed in Williamsburg.

Witnesses say they heard rumbling at around 1:30 p.m., then the brick three-story building collapsed with workers still inside.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the call and were able to extract two workers who were pinned in less than 20 minutes, according to EMS personnel.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the collapse.
