BROOKLYN - One man was killed and four people were sent to the hospital in three separate incidents in Brooklyn.

Sunday morning, the pastor at Living Water Christian Center on Belmont and Thatford avenues says his sermon was interrupted by gunfire. Police say a young man was shot in the leg and transported to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. He is expected to be OK.

A few hours later, multiple shots were fired in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. Three people were shot, including a 14-year-old boy, who was taken to Kings County Hospital Center in stable condition. Police say the suspect also fired at officers, but no cops were injured.

Then, authorities say 25-year-old Damien Powell died after he was shot in the torso on Bergen Street in Crown Heights.

Police say they're investigating all three incidents.
