A fire in a Crown Heights apartment building has claimed the life of one person and left several others without a home. According to firefighters,

BROOKLYN - A fire in a Crown Heights apartment building has claimed the life of one person and left several others without a home.

According to firefighters, the call came in just before 4:30 a.m. at a three-story building on Albany Avenue.

Fire officials say a male in his 50s was killed. Two others, including a firefighter, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
