One person was rushed to the hospital after an overnight shooting in Brownsville. According to police, the male victim was shot in the right thigh

BROOKLYN - One person was rushed to the hospital after an overnight shooting in Brownsville.

According to police, the male victim was shot in the right thigh at around 2 a.m. on Mother Gaston Boulevard, directly across the street from the Howard Houses.

The victim is being treated at Kings County Hospital, and is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
