A 10-year-old girl is in stable condition after being struck by a police cruiser in Brownsville. Cops say the girl ran out into Mother Gaston

The child is in stable condition at Kings

The child is in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

BROOKLYN - A 10-year-old girl is in stable condition after being struck by a police cruiser in Brownsville. 
 
Cops say the girl ran out into Mother Gaston Boulevard, near Lots Avenue, at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday. 
 
The cruiser had a green light at the time of the accident, according to investigators. 
 
The child is being treated at Kings County Hospital. The officer involved was taken to Jamaica Hospital for evaluation.
