BROOKLYN - A 12-year-old boy in Brooklyn was impaled on a metal fence after playing a game of tag, according to police.

It happened on 1378 St. Marks Ave. around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say the boy fell on a low-lying metal fence that tore through the child's arm and bicep.

He was transported to Kings County Hospital in serious, but stable condition, according to police.
