BUSHWICK - A fire in Bushwick has left more than a dozen Brooklyn residents out on the street wondering when, and if, they'll be able to get back in their homes.

FDNY officials say the fire broke out around 10:20 a.m. today at 269 Weirfield St.

Fire crews have been on scene investigating and working to put out the fire.

The American Red Cross is handing out blankets and food to 13 people who are displaced from the multi-family home. Two of the displaced suffered minor injuries.

A Red Cross representative says that it will provide shelter Friday night for any of the displaced families that can't get back into their homes.
