FLATBUSH - Two people, including a 13-year-old boy, were injured in a double shooting Monday afternoon in Flatbush, prompting a search for a suspect.

Police say at around noon, a 24-year-old man got out of a cab on Flatbush Avenue near Beverly Road. He was approached by the suspect, who shot him in the leg. Another bullet struck 13-year-old Gama Droiville in the head as he was walking with his aunt and another young boy.

Witnesses say they heard multiple shots, with one witness saying they heard between seven and 11.

Police are looking for a 20-year-old man who was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie.

Both victims were brought to hospitals and are expected to be OK.
