15-year-old boy seriously hurt in Bay Ridge hit-and-run

BAY RIDGE - A teenage boy has been hospitalized in serious condition after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver last night in Bay Ridge.

Councilman Vincent Gentile (D-Brooklyn) says the 15-year-old was hit while crossing the intersection of 78th Street and Fourth Avenue at around 8 p.m. last night. The driver left the scene and the teen was taken to Lutheran Medical Center.

Police found an abandoned 2002 Audi with front-end damage on 93rd Street shortly after the incident, but no arrests have been made.
