BROOKLYN - Police arrested 16 people in a drug bust inside a Bushwick housing complex Wednesday morning.

Investigators say the arrests are a result of a yearlong probe that began at the request of several concerned residents.

The 16 people arrested are facing various narcotic-related charges, including criminal sale of narcotics and criminal possession of narcotics.

News 12 is told they are all residents of Hope Gardens housing complex.

Police say officers executed seven search warrants on seven apartments in the housing complex.

Inside, they found two guns, as well as heroin, crack and marijuana.
