BROOKLYN - A 17-year-old is dead after being gunned down in Bushwick, marking the borough’s first homicide of 2014. 

According to police, the teenager was found in front of the Borinquen Memorial Funeral Home at 1461 Bushwick Ave. at around 3 a.m.

They say the boy was shot multiple times in the chest and was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
