19-year-old arrested in connection to Brighton Beach shooting

Police say they have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a shooting in Brighton Beach that killed a 16-year-old girl and left four other

BROOKLYN - Police say they have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a shooting in Brighton Beach that killed a 16-year-old girl and left four other people wounded last week.

Iloune Driver was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of assault. Police say it was witnesses on the boardwalk who helped them catch Driver.

Tysha Jones, 16, was fatally shot when Driver allegedly opened fire on the beach boardwalk.  Officials say they do not believe Jones was the intended target.

Investigators say they are still looking for a second suspect in connection with the shooting, but that they believe Driver was the one to fire the shots.
