BROOKLYN - Police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting of a 14-year-old girl in East New York.

Authorities say Rashawn Williams, 19, is charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

Williams allegedly opened fire in broad daylight last Friday at the corner of Sutter and Euclid avenues.

The girl was hit in the leg by a stray bullet, and is expected to be OK.
