2 boys struck by hit-and-run driver in Flatbush

BROOKLYN - Two young boys are in the hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Flatbush last night.

Police say the 12-year-olds were riding a bicycle when they were hit at Avenue S and East 4th Street before 11 p.m. A description of the vehicle has not been released, but officers suspect the driver may have been drag-racing at the time.

The boys are in stable condition at Lutheran Medical Center and are expected to be OK.
