2 Con Ed workers injured in building fire

Two workers for Consolidated Edison, Inc. were injured when they ran inside of a building fire to help residents.The fire occurred at 198 Wilson St.

BROOKLYN - Two workers for Consolidated Edison, Inc. were injured when they ran inside of a building fire to help residents.

The fire occurred at 198 Wilson St. The Con Ed workers were restoring power to the area when they saw the apartment fire and ran over to help tenants, according to a spokesperson from the company.

The workers have been taken to area hospitals where they are being treated.
