2 construction workers hurt after crane overturns along Belt Parkway

BROOKLYN - Two constructions workers were seriously hurt after being pinned under the bucket of a collapsed crane in Brooklyn.

According to the FDNY, the crane was attached to a truck that overturned at around 11 a.m. along the Belt Parkway near Canarsie Road.

The men were taken to Brookdale Hospital in serious condition with non-life threatening injuries.

An FDNY spokesperson says it took about 45 minutes to free the workers.
