BROOKLYN - Two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling a three-alarm fire in Flatlands.

About 100 firefighters responded to the residential building on East 35th Street at around 4 a.m. Officials say it started on the first floor and spread up to the second and third floors of the home, which houses four apartments.

One woman had to be rescued from the top floor, but all other residents made it out to safety on their own, and no one was hurt.

Tenants say the home has caught fire before, but it's unclear what sparked the blaze this time.
