EAST NEW YORK - Two separate fires broke out in East New York over a six-hour period.

Authorities responded to reports of three vehicles on fire at a construction site behind the Gateway Center at around 11:30 p.m. yesterday.

They were called back to the same site only six hours later at around 5:30 a.m. for a trailer on fire, which spread to the truck next to it.

At this time, these fires are believed to have been started due to old electrical wires. The electricity has been turned off to prevent other fires.

No one was injured in the fires.
