BROOKLYN - Police are investigating a home invasion in Gravesend that sent two people to the hospital this morning.

A neighbor who spoke to one of the victims says four men were sleeping in a basement apartment on East 13th Street when two masked suspects burst in at around 6 a.m. and pistol-whipped two of the men.

The invaders went through drawers, stole cash and smashed a TV set, according to neighbor Vincent Sica.

EMS officials say both victims were taken to Coney Island Hospital with minor injuries.

So far, no arrests have been made.
