Two people were injured in a double shooting yesterday that occurred just an hour after residents held a peace march to curb violence in Crown

BROOKLYN - Two people were injured in a double shooting yesterday that occurred just an hour after residents held a peace march to curb violence in Crown Heights.

EMS says a 27-year-old man and 56-year-old woman were shot at the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Utica Avenue last night. Both victims are in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

The shooting occurred just an hour after residents held an anti-violence march in the neighborhood. No arrests have been made.
