2 injured in Putnam Avenue fire

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - Fire officials say two people were injured in a Bed-Stuy fire Wednesday.

"The fire started on the first floor. There were two injuries: one smoke inhalation, the other got burned," says FDNY Capt. Mike Smithwick.

Officials say occupants of the third and fourth floors at 662 Putnam Ave. are back in their apartments.
