BROOKLYN - Community members in the Fort Greene area are calling for an end to violence after a weekend that saw two men fatally shot, and another man pistol-whipped in broad daylight.
Police say two men were fatally shot execution-style in Fort Greene Park on Friday night. The victims have been identified as 21-year-old Jamal Isaac Page, and 22-year-old Anthony Early Govon. A third man was also struck by a bullet, but survived.
A few miles away, near McCarren Park, police say a man was pistol-whipped in broad daylight on Guernsey Street. Investigators say they have a suspect in custody in that incident.

The shooter in the deadly Fort Greene Park shooting remains at large. Community leaders came together at a rally against violence today, and they announced a $1,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
