BROOKLYN - Authorities say two people were hospitalized when a minivan with a backseat full of children crashed into two parked cars on Pacific Street.

The minivan's driver said the Tuesday morning accident happened after he swerved to avoid another car.

FDNY officials confirm three people were evaluated for injuries at the scene and two were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
