2 teens mowed down on Ocean Parkway

BROOKLYN - A driver is accused of plowing into two teenagers on their way to school in Brighton Beach Thursday morning, police say.

According to eyewitnesses, the two victims, both 17-year-old students at Lincoln High School, were crossing the street at Ocean Parkway and West Avenue when an SUV slammed into them.

Both victims of the crash are expected to recover. The driver of the SUV was taken into custody, and police say charges against him are pending.
