BROOKLYN - The search is on for a pair of armed men who police say are on a Metro PCS robbery spree.

According to cops, the suspects have hit five stores since Aug. 15, including three in Brooklyn and two in Staten Island. They say one location on Mermaid Avenue in Coney Island was targeted twice.

In every case, authorities say the men carry a gun, tie up the store clerks, and take off with cash and phones. They've been caught on surveillance video and are described as African-American men, between 20 and 40 years old.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-877-577-TIPS.
