2 women wanted for grand larceny scam in Midwood

BROOKLYN - Police are searching for two women accused of running a grand larceny scam in Midwood.

According to investigators, the suspects offered to share a bag of money with their victim for an advance fee, but then took off, leaving the victim empty handed. They say it happened in the middle of the day at the Kings Highway train station on East 16th Street Aug. 28.

Authorities say the women are middle-aged African-Americans, who were wearing dark-colored wigs and sunglasses. They were last seen in a dark-colored four-door Audi.
