22-year-old shot dead in DeKalb Avenue home

BROOKLYN - Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a 22-year-old inside a DeKalb Avenue house Sunday.

Police say they responded to a call for help inside 1089 DeKalb Ave. just before 4 a.m. When officers arrived, they found the man with multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities rushed the 22-year-old to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, but he died four hours later.

Police are unsure of the motive behind the fatal shooting, but say the investigation is ongoing.
