BROOKLYN - The 23-year-old driver involved in an alleged drunken driving crash in Williamsburg that killed a 21-year-old woman has been arrested and charged.

According to police, Ayisha Dobson was in a silver Nissan Altima with four other women when she lost control on a Williamsburg Bridge off-ramp for the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) at South 4th and Roebling streets.

The victim, identified as Janice Brown, was thrown from the vehicle when it slammed into a barrier and overturned. The others, including Dobson, were taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.

Dobson is facing a number of charges, including manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, DWI and reckless driving.
