BROOKLYN - Police are trying to figure out what caused a car crash that killed a 23-year-old man in East Flatbush.

According to witnesses, the driver of a BMW was heading south on Utica Avenue at around 5 a.m. when he struck a dip in the pavement at Claredon Road.

The vehicle then spun out of control, slamming into two parked cars.

Officials say that the parked cars were empty, and the driver was alone in his car.
