BROOKLYN - Some big names in music are coming to Brooklyn this spring for the 29th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Nirvana, Kiss and Peter Gabriel are just some of the names that will be inducted on April 10 at the Barclays Center. Artists are eligible for induction 25 years after their first release.
More than 700 Rock Hall voters determined who would be inducted this year. Kiss front-man Gene Simmons attended Yeshiva in Brooklyn and his mom worked in a Williamsburg factory.
Residents say they're pumped to hear the arena will host the big event and they couldn't think of a better place for the ceremony to be held.
The event is open to the public and tickets will go on sale next month.
