BROOKLYN - Mayor Bill de Blasio is planning to close three struggling Bedford-Stuyvesant schools at the end of the school year, citing low enrollment and high staff turnover.
The schools in jeopardy are Peace Academy Middle School, the School for the Urban Environment and Foundations Academy High School.
The Panel for Educational Policy has to approve the closings before they can go into effect.
