BROOKLYN - The Boy Scouts honored three brothers in Greenpoint Sunday who each achieved the highest rank a scout can reach.

Liam Creegan and his brothers Christopher and Kyle became Eagle Scouts.

Each scout earned at least 21 merit badges and has shown the leadership skills required to receive the honor.

The leaders of Boy Scout Troop 469 say only about 2 percent of scouts earn the award.

The brothers were honored with a traditional flag ceremony, candle lighting and pins.
