BROOKLYN - Three people were hurt after a two-alarm fire broke out in Bensonhurst. 

It started in a seven-story residential building on 82nd Street at around 6 a.m., but was under control within the half-hour. 
 
The extent of the injuries is not yet known. 

The cause is under investigation.
