CROWN HEIGHTS - The Crown Heights Community Mediation Center is hosting its third annual "Arts to End Violence" competition.

The competition is open to anyone who can submit an original painting, drawing, photograph or performance piece that comments on how gun violence has affected them.

The works will be featured in an exhibition at the organization's annual festival in May. The deadline is this Friday, April 5.
