4 artists add creative touches to construction sites

BROOKLYN - The downtown Brooklyn landscape is changing rapidly with lots of on-going construction. To combat this, the Brooklyn Arts Council and the Metro-Tech Business Improvement District have started a project to spruce up construction sites.

The two groups hired four artists, picked out of 5,000 applications, to do a creative overhaul of the sites, in what they are calling 'City Walls.'

The paintings are transforming the construction barriers on Duffield, Bridge and Lawrence streets.
