The robbery spree started at a Santander bank Monday afternoon.

BROOKLYN - Police are trying to track down the man who managed to rob four Brooklyn banks in a single day. 

According to authorities, the suspect first targeted a Santander bank on Avenue U at around 2:30 p.m. Monday. He then hit a Capital One bank on Ralph Avenue, a Chase bank on Flatbush Avenue and a Northfield bank on Kings Highway.

Investigators say it's unclear how much money was taken. 

The suspect is described as a black man, about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a scar on his face.
