BROOKLYN - ? Four Brooklyn schools are in danger of shutting down due to poor test scores and graduation rates.
Parents say lack of funding for programs and limited staff is to blame. The Department of Education says they will attempt to restructure the struggling schools through changes in leadership, expansion or other means.
The Department of Education says if the schools are chosen to be shut down they will be closed at the beginning of the next school year. A six-month notice must be given to all students and parents in those schools.
