4 indicted in Crown Heights sex-trafficking case

CROWN HEIGHTS - Four men were indicted today for allegedly forcing a 13-year-old girl into prostitution for eight years in Crown Heights.

Officials say Damien Crooks, Jumale Brockett, Juane Brockett, and Darryl Duau forced the girl into prostitution after she was first raped by two of the men in a park.

The allegations came to light after the woman, who is now 21, confessed the incident to one of her professors at the college she attended.

The four men face charges of rape and sex trafficking and if convicted, could spend 25 years to life behind bars.
