4 injured in apartment fire at 869 Flushing Ave. in Williamsburg
BROOKLYN - Firefighters say at least four people were injured after fire broke out in a Williamsburg apartment building.
The flames started sometime after 11 a.m. Monday at 869 Flushing Ave.
First responders say an adult and a child were taken to Woodhull Hospital, and that two other patients were treated on the scene.

FDNY officials say the building did not need to be evacuated because the fire was confined to the compactor. They say the fire sent a great deal of smoke throughout the 20-story building, frightening residents
One neighbor says this is a regular occurrence at the building.
