BUSHWICK - Witnesses say a police vehicle crashed into another car at a Bushwick intersection Wednesday night, sending four people to the hospital.

According to neighbors, a car at the intersection of Himrod Street and Irving Avenue tried to turn right when a speeding police car smashed into it. Witnesses say one officer was injured and, even though a baby was hurt in the other car, emergency responders tended to the officer first.

Residents say the driver, a woman and the baby were taken to the hospital with injuries.
